107. Fish

It is the fish out of water that gets a new view of the world

Luke & Geoff's dog wonders (he spends a lot of time gazing into the fish-bowl on the kitchen bench, obviously pondering deeper issues of life - while awaiting his next feed!), were the fish wiped out in the flood? There's no account of Noah (the first zoo-keeper) having an aquarium on the ark. This is what scripture (Gen7:21 on) tells us:

Every living thing that moved on the earth perished — birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; men and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds of the air were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.

The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days.
(NIV)

He says, it seems to him that the fish actually did quite well, enjoying good conditions and a good life, thriving in fact over those 150 days. Hmmm... food for thought!

And Geoff I thought your dog was a 'her".

In todays AGE it says Einstein is still raking in $20 million a year from royalties.
How does this sit with your dog being Einstein reincarnated???
